Contrast balance. The sharp and delicate flow of a razor. Uppercut Deluxe is pleased to announce the latest chapter in the Collector's series, Resin & Rose.

Imagine a tree-covered tin, a craftsmanship master stroke. Underneath it, the razor blade of the custom machine rests, shining and sharpening. All of this is proudly on the global crowd's favorite Deluxe Pomade.

Capturing the essence of classic style, each piece is frozen in resin and history. It is a true testament to a timeless style. The old and new seamlessly blend.

But how did you get here?

It all started with a flash of inspiration. Steve Purcell, founder of Uppercut Deluxe, had thoughts that seemed almost impossible. In just a week to create this year's limited edition capsule (and the pressure of toppings for last year's Doom & Groom), Steve paid attention to the wind and asked for it.

His mind has returned to memory from his childhood. He recalls sitting by his father in the passenger seat of an old panel van in the 70s. What caught his eye was the gear shifter. A unique resin set with red spiders trapped inside. It was an image of him being with him for years, and it was clear and unforgettable.

Inspiration, Steve ran straight into CEO Kiera Purcell's office. “I have this wild idea,” he said. Her response? “You're crazy.”

But as the days go by, the idea never leaves their hearts. It returned stronger and more vividly every time. And soon, it couldn't be denied. Resin & Rose was scheduled to occur.

The race has begun. The team scrambled to track five important pieces that will make their vision come true. A can etched with a custom machine razor blade, a real rose that shines in your hand, a resin topper, a tuned deluxe pomade formula, and a resin & rose logo.

Creating resin was a science in itself. Mixing the resin with the curing agent triggered a chemical reaction that slowly solidified over 24 hours. But that wasn't the most difficult part. No, the real challenge was to prevent the delicate rose from collapsing the mixture. Again and again, the team had to scrape the work and start over. But they don't give up. All the mistakes, all the mistakes pushed them further towards perfection.

And finally, after the endless exam, they had it. Resin and roses were born. A masterpiece of artistry, patience and determination.
