Ellis Craggs, from Watford, began cutting his hair 10 months ago after practicing one of his best friends.

Soon, words came out about Ellis' cheap and stylish haircuts, and he began to receive requests from other teens.

The young barber works from the shed in the family's backyard and charges between £5 and £10 per haircut.

So far, Ellis has made hundreds of pounds and plans to save profits and pay support to his parents.

Ellis, who attends a local secondary school, said:

“So cutting my hair felt like a good way to do that.”

I started making a fuss when I was on a rugby tour with a friend 10 months ago when I offered to cut my hair for free.

Ellis said:

“I was on a rugby tour so I asked a close friend if I could give him a haircut.

“Some people said yes, others said no.

“My first haircut was with a really close friend of mine called Taylor.

“For the past 10 months, I've been the only person who actually cut his hair.”

The young entrepreneur continued to fine-tune his techniques, and when he began to receive more demands, he began to bill customers.

Ellis said:

“I probably made hundreds of people out of barbers, but you also have to think about all the equipment I bought.

Ellis' parents are proud of their son's achievements and have given them more equipment for his final birthday.

Stephen Craggs, 51, the father of Ellis, a surveyor, said: “Eris was a bundle of energy even when he was little.

“When he first started cutting his hair, I didn't know what to expect, but I'm proud of where he went.

“Even so, he usually has four clients over the weekend.

“That's really impressive.

In addition to being a go-to barber to fellow local teens, Ellis also runs the fuss on the other side.

Ellis said:

“I went through the resale clothing phase with a vintated vintation in the lockdown that I enjoyed.”

With the benefit, Ellis plans to pay it back to support her parents.

He said: “When I get older and make more money, I want to pay my parents a lot of it because they helped me so much.

“The barber might be the route I go down, but for now it's kind of a side hustle.
