30-year-old Jonathan Bradley began studying trade four years ago and began working for Barbers in Halstead last September.
Always a passion for fitness, he had an extensive history of hiking, climbing a whopping 14 mountains in just one year in 2023.
Earlier this year, Jonathan climbed Mount Snowdon in Wales 1,085m-meters above Wales, with a 23kg barbershop chair tied to his back with the help of a charity close to his heart.

Since the challenge, Jonathan has cut hair in various parts of Essex, as well as Paris and London.
Now he has launched his own business within a hair salon in town.
Last weekend, Jonathan held a day at the salon (Image: Jonathan Bradley) He said: “It's incredible to open my own barber studio.
“I feel very fortunate to work with the beautiful staff at Bobby and Bobby Bob's salon.
“I am very blessed with Halstead because of my staff and clients.
“The shop is open late at night and weekends and offers tailored professional services.
“Clients can download FreshaApp and book reservations.”
Jonathan's business, Bar Version Bradley, is located inside Bobby Bob's salon on Halsted High Street.

Bobby said:
“It's a fresh, incredibly talented breath of fresh Air John and a truly joy to work with.
“We have a lot of ideas, and it's a really exciting time.”
21-year-old Shanen Bray has worked at the salon for six years and completed an apprenticeship with Bobby after graduating from school.

“It's great to have a fresh face here, and it was me and Bobby.
“We laugh all the time because men talk about things really funny.
“I think having a barber shop here will bring in more clients. Since me and Bobby didn't train as barbers, we can learn from each other.”
Jonathan plans a new “adventure” for him and his chair in 2025 after the “exciting” barber assignments – including climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.

“Next year, I am aiming to raise funds for men’s mental health.
2i will host a men's walk and talk about events that may have haircuts along the way.
“The 'Snowdon haircut' will happen again in August, encouraging barbers and clients to join me and my team.
“Following Snowdon, we will be climbing Kilimanjaro (5895m) in September to cut down on hair for men's mental health.”
