The barbershop owner was ordered to pay another £2,500 after the beauty ingredients were dumped near Buscott.
Emin Ishitomen, 23, traded as a barber at Highworth Turkey and attended the Oxford Magistrate on Friday, August 23, when he pleaded guilty to two counts related to illegal waste deposits. I did.
Magistrates heard that in November 2023 a large number of black bags containing Barber beauty materials and cardboard packaging had been discovered on a property along Snowswick Lane.
Whitehorse District Council veil investigators have tried to engage with Isaitman several times without a response. When they were finally able to speak to Mr. ISITMEN, he claimed that he handed the waste to a friend for him to dispose of, but failed to provide them with contact details.
After ISITMEN did not provide records regarding lack of involvement and waste, the council's legal team began the prosecution process. The case was first listed at a hearing at Oxford Magistrates Court on June 28, 2024, but Mr ISITMEN was unable to attend and a warrant was issued for arrest. He was arrested on August 13th and released on bail for attendance at Oxford Magistrates Court on Friday, August 23rd, 2024.
In the verdict, the district judge told Mr ISITMEN, “If this were to respond when he was contacted, he was criminally convicted when the matter could have been addressed, and he was sentenced to criminal conviction. He said it was very stupid that he was not involved with the council. Fixed penalty notice.”
Mr Isitmen was fined £1,200 and ordered to pay a cost of £871 and a victim surcharge of £480.

Cllr Mark Coleman, Cabinet member of Whitehorse District Council's Veil's Environmental Services and Waste, said: Disposing of illegally dumped waste costs the council and therefore the valley taxpayers. Anyone who fails to do care is at risk of a criminal record and fine. Our enforcement officers do not hesitate to act against the person responsible for abandoned waste. ”
