The scuffle started around 11:40 a.m. Tuesday, and Kyle jumped out of his chair to help.

The gunman, wearing a gray hoodie and black jacket, pinned the officer to the ground and he sprinted down the road.

Kyle, still wearing his barber's cloak, struggled with Job until two more police cars arrived.

“The barber stopped and looked in the mirror for about 10 seconds, then went to the window and started recording,” said a young hero who was having his back shaved at Harron Barber Shop.

“Everything happened so fast,” he said, but he immediately rushed to help. Because his sister is also a police officer.

He added: “Unless you're Conor McGregor, no one gets paid enough to get punched in the face.”

The funny clip was shared by UK Cop Humor, who captioned it: “Not all heroes wear capes… but this one does.”

“Can we give a round of applause to this athlete who jumped out to save the bronze medal in the middle of a haircut?

“There aren't enough people like you around. Kyle's sister is a police officer, so he kept an eye on what was going on outside.

“Seeing an officer in his single crew being attacked, he jumped out in the middle of a haircut and rescued the officer without regard for his own safety.”

A police officer involved in the scuffle suffered a broken finger and bruised ribs.

A 50-year-old man was arrested after the assault.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “Police officers have thanked the public for their support following an assault on a police officer in Warrington.”

“The incident occurred in the Lovely Lane area at approximately 11.40am on Tuesday, December 17th.

“As the assault was occurring, members of the public from a nearby hair salon intervened to assist the officers.

“A 50-year-old man has since been arrested in connection with this matter.

“He was then handed over to the care of medical professionals.”
