Louise Whitemore, who has been a barber around Southampton and Winchester for 18 years, opened Lula Barbers on Swanwick Lane two years ago and took over her existing barber shop on Summerlands Road last month. , just added a second location in Fair Oaks.
Named after childhood nicknames, the staff at both stores are highly skilled in all areas of hairdressing, from classic scissor cuts to skin fade cuts and children's cuts.

Louise, who ran the Tokyo Marathon for Ronald McDonald House last month, regularly volunteers at her Southampton home. The home is a space that gives families the opportunity to stay close to their children during hospitalization, and provides haircuts for those staying there.
She and her team are also known for their patience and understanding when providing cuts to young children and those with special needs.
Louise told the Daily Echo: “We specialize in SEN haircuts because we have special skills of patience and understanding.
“We combine our expertise as skilled barbers with your knowledge of your child to provide a personalized service that allows your child to get their hair cut in a space where they feel safe.
“People want a clean space, a decent haircut, value for money, and someone who cares about their job. We offer all of these things, so people come to Lula Barbers I keep coming back.”
The staff at both shops is committed to providing you with classic styles as well as the latest trends.
Priority is given to reservations made via app or phone, so there is no waiting time at the store, but walk-in reservations are also available.
Louise has always been a keen supporter of charities, community groups and local good causes, regularly donating vouchers to school fairs, raffles and other events, and will continue to do so with her new shop.
