Hertfordshire Police are investigating after stores in Abbots Langley and Kings Langley were robbed on the night of Saturday (June 29) and yesterday (July 1).
Village Barbers owner and manager Lindy Bushby said her door was burgled between 12:30 a.m. and 1:20 a.m. Saturday, and scissors, clippers, perfume and cash were all taken. Ta.

A High Street business owner said he was “shocked”, adding: “This store has been here for 30 years and has never been broken into, so it's really bad.”
“It's really sad to know that there are people who would do this.”
She estimated it would cost around £8,000 to replace all the equipment, on top of the income lost due to the theft.

“It's not cheap and we work hard for it. We always have a few spare scissors, but now they're all gone,” she added.
Lindy said customers have been “fantastic” in supporting the business since the break-in and that she has amassed enough equipment to reopen with just one staff member.

Owner Claire Smith said the thieves also stole a bag containing around £1,500 worth of tools and managed to take the store's safe, which contained more than £100 in cash, from the floor.

The barbershop was forced to close and lost business, but hopes to reopen today.
Ms Clare said she was “concerned” that the theft would impact on business, adding: “We really rely on bookings so we don't know who will book again.”
Police cited crime reference numbers 41/52731/24 (Village Barbershop) and 41/53372/24 (Kings Langley Barbershop) and said it was too early to confirm whether the incidents were linked. , said any information can be reported on 101 or online.
